How It Works

Fill Out the Form Below
Start by telling us a little about your spoon — what it is, its approximate size, and any special details or engravings on it. Include your ring size if you know it. We will review your submission and confirm whether your spoon is a good candidate for ring-making.
Mail Us Your Spoon
Once we confirm your order, you mail your spoon to our studio. We recommend using a padded envelope and tracked shipping so you have peace of mind. We will send you a confirmation email the day we receive it. Your spoon is in good hands — we treat every piece as though it were our own.
We Craft Your Ring
Our craftsman carefully shapes your spoon into a ring by hand using traditional metalworking tools. We preserve as much of the original character of the spoon as possible — engravings, patina, and decorative details all remain.
Polish & Final Inspection
After shaping, the ring is polished by hand to a beautiful shine while preserving any original detail. We inspect every ring carefully before it is packaged. If anything about the finished ring does not meet our standards, we will contact you before shipping.
Shipped Back to You
Your finished ring is packed shipped back to you with tracking.
What Kinds of Spoons Work Best?
Sterling Silver Spoons
Solid sterling silver (marked 925 or “sterling”) is ideal — workable, beautiful, and it polishes to a brilliant shine.
Silver-Plated Spoons
Most vintage silver-plated spoons work wonderfully. The plating holds up well through the shaping process and looks stunning when polished.
Teaspoons & Dessert Spoons
Smaller spoons are perfect for standard ring widths. They shape easily and typically yield the most comfortable fit.
Tablespoons & Soup Spoons
Larger spoons can produce wider statement bands. These make striking, bold rings with plenty of surface area for engravings to show.
